Delete Your ClayAI Account
You can permanently delete your ClayAI account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains exactly how to do it, what gets removed, and what is retained. If you no longer have the app installed, you can still request deletion by email using the option below.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open the ClayAI app and sign in to your account.
- Go to Settings > Data > Delete Account.
- When prompted, type DELETE to confirm.
- Your account is deactivated immediately and you are signed out. All personally identifiable data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
Tip: Want a copy of your scores first? Before deleting, go to Settings > Data > Export My Data to download your rounds and scores. Once your account is deleted, this data cannot be recovered.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app (for example, you've already uninstalled it), email us from the address on your account and we'll process the deletion for you:
Please include the email address associated with your ClayAI account so we can verify your identity. We respond to deletion requests within 30 days (and within the timelines required by GDPR and CCPA where applicable).
What is deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the following from our cloud servers:
- Your profile (email, display name, first name, last initial, home club, and NSCA membership number)
- Your rounds, scores, station configurations, and notes
- Your equipment presets and course configurations
- Weather data and squad session data tied to your account
- Data stored locally on your device is cleared when the app's local database is reset on deletion
What is retained, and for how long

Important: Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel that separately in your store settings — iOS: Settings > your name > Subscriptions > ClayAI > Cancel. Android: Google Play Store > profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > ClayAI > Cancel.
